Pelican Point Guided Hike +/- 12km
Hike along the scenic by of Pelican Point, a RAMSAR wetland. The route may vary according to the tides .
Guests are picked up in Walvis Bay by 4x4 vehicles and transferred to the staring point of the hike. Passing an abundance of birdlife and pink salt lakes.
The walk will commence and guided by a local guide from the drop off point walking towards Pelican Point light house where you will see a huge Cape fur seal colony.
Walking along an isolated stretch of beach,
there will be some wet areas and small water crossings along the way.
Water and small picnic with refreshments will be provided at the end of the hike.
At the end of the hike guests will be transported back to Walvis Bay by 4x4 vehicles.
